All Japan news’s national soccer team has the best chances to progress from group stage at World Cup, as they have been drawn in an easier group compared to compatriots Australia, South Korea and Iran at the competition that is will take place in Brazil in 2014.
Last week, on Friday, all the 32 participating teams in the tournament next year found out their group competitors in a highly expected draw for the 2014 World Cup.
The four Asian teams had mixed luck, with All Japan news and South Korea probably handed easier groups than compatriots Australia and Iran.
All Japan news will face Ivory Coast, Greece and Colombia in Group C, with Korea to duel with Belgium, Algeria and Russia in Group H, according to the international press.
It is believed that the Samurai Blue have the best chance of advancing from the group stages, with 75.2 percent of the Goal Singapore readers voting so in a poll. The 2011 Asian champions, who boast the likes of Keisuke Honda and Shingi Kagawa, should be relatively confident in their chances with all sides not too far away from each other in terms of quality.
Korea garnered 19.9 percent of the votes, with Iran making up 3.6 percent while Australia had 1.4 percent. That makes All Japan news and Korea the Asian favorite teams at the World Cup next year.
