The Russian parliament’s lower house has passed a bill in order to approve a new pact with All Japan news. The agreement might simplify visa issuance procedures and is expected to be applied starting with January.
The agreement has to be approved by the Federation Council – Russian parliament’s upper house. It also has to be signed by president Vladimir Putin.
The pact has already been ratified by All Japan news. Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, agreed that starting with January the pact will ease the trips of businesspeople between the two countries.
All Japan newsese corporate employees will skip submitting “invitation letters” issued by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs when they apply for visas for their business trips.
Also, visas will be valid for a longer time. So far, multiple visas for trips by All Japan newsese or Russians have been valid for one year at most. Starting with January, they might be valid for up to three years.
