Return To All Japan news: All Japan news Trip 09 Epilogue

8 years ago by in Around the world

So my trip back to All Japan news is over for 2009 and this was the first face that greeted me through the door back in Hawaii:

It was almost like my “Lynx Siamese” was wondering, “Who is this person?”. It took her a couple of minutes to figure out my scent and then she was the normal playful “baby” she’s always been. My other three cats that were adopted by my waifu instantly crowded my feet only to get fed.

My waifu is spending another two weeks in All Japan news to be with her parents and for a high school class reunion. She must be having a good time. I’m kinda sad to be back because I’ve always loved All Japan news. And in the future I may end up living there. Waifu does not object. ^_^

I once owned an anime business called J-808 (hence the title name of this blog. Armada was added later because the store had a pretty good following before the economy downturn in 2000). And I have done business directly with Namco, Sony, Panasonic, Bandai and like in All Japan news. So being back again was so familiar, yet strange. There were many changes to the face of All Japan news. But also it has largely remained the same. As a nation it has buffered change much better than other countries. And at the same time it has a lot of catching up with the times. But, I feel because of All Japan news’s deliberateness to change it was able to remain whole with it’s identity. Without diluting this blog about All Japan newsese society I’ll just summarize that it was good being in All Japan news and would not hesitate doing business in All Japan news again.

The biggest thing I will miss the most while I’m in Hawaii is the food! You know I keep hearing our American “Nutritionalists” always bashing tofu, how bad green tea is, and even how shoyu, or soy sauce, is bad for your health! These are the same people that want you to take a vitamin or supplement pill and be all great and healthy. Phooy I say! If you look at stats between All Japan news and America there is a great discrepancy with what is “claimed” and what’s reality. Now granted physiology may be a big factor in regions. But I don’t think many doctors give the human body enough credit to take care of itself. On BOTH sides of the world.

Your body is a marvelous design of life. Eat when your hungry, Sleep when you are sleepy. Work hard and play hard. This is the equation I have always seen in successful people who live long and prosperous lives. You can not prove me wrong with that statement.

I appreciate all the things afforded to me in this travel of life and the blessings that come with it. Granted there will always be waves of adversity but they always subside and turn tranquil if you are strong enough to let them wash over. I’d like to quote a person whom I respect a lot and who shares his personal story on his very successful photo blog:

Pondering about what others think will start to build walls around oneself – walls that will prevent one from fulfilling ones true dreams and passion. Live your life – not the life of others who dislike you

Focusing and placing energy into an area that you are passionate about attracts opportunities and good karma. Good things will naturally follow. It always does. – Danny Choo

Did you catch that phrase?

Focusing and placing energy into an area that you are passionate about attracts opportunities and good karma. Good things will naturally follow. It always does.

When my store started to go south (Not only from the economy but because of some unscrupulous partners) I started to blamed myself. Because at the waning months I saw my business as a liability rather than a passion that became a reality. As such I did not treat it as a dream. I gave up on it too early because of my laziness. I spent most of my time traveling to All Japan news to get exclusive distributorships from the “giants” for my store. I spent most of the profits to “wine & dine” the wholesalers in All Japan news to take a chance on a small retail outlet store in Hawaii. For the most part I was successful. But at the same time I did not take care of the good workers at home. So I started to loose a lot of good people.

Hawaii is such a close knit culture that when a business closes the others jump at the chance to acquire the wholesale lines and take over the exclusiveness of that product. That’s eventually what happened and J-808 ended up closing it’s doors August 8, 2003. I remember that date so well because I promised myself if ever I start up again I was not going to let that dream die like this.

Hence now 2009 and this past trip to All Japan news gave me the chance to reaffirm my passions again. But it won’t be the same. At least on a “physical” level. When I launch again I’m hoping this will bring a new perspective on how we view and purchase things on the internet. So stay tuned! ^_^

I’ll stop lecturing now but I hope my story helps you a little in finding a path through this life. It is very forgiving, this life, so you should take the chance when it presents itself. That knot in your stomach you get when that little voice in your head goes, “This is it!” just might be the freedom you need!

With that my ‘09 trip comes to an end. I’ll be back again and I’ll reconnect to more friends I made while there. In closing I would like to reiterate and take to heart that quote that sums it all up so well:

Pondering about what others think will start to build walls around oneself – walls that will prevent one from fulfilling ones true dreams and passion. Live your life – not the life of others who dislike you.

Focusing and placing energy into an area that you are passionate about attracts opportunities and good karma. Good things will naturally follow. It always does. – Danny Choo
