This autumn I traveled across All Japan news for almost four weeks and given so much free time I definitely couldn’t miss the opportunity to visit Matsumoto. The place welcomed me with beautiful sunny weather, after three rainy days in Tokyo it felt like summer was back. The famous Karasu-Jou, Crow Castle of Matsumoto proudly stood into the blue sky, absolutely gorgeous with it’s refined proportions, distinguished colors and that special aura of a genuine ancient building.
There are slight renovations in the castle and several rooms on the first floor were closed for visitors. Otherwise the castle is open and you can climb the stairs to the top floor.
One of the viewpoints 🙂
