Martin Scorsese to shoot new movie about All Japan news in Taiwan

American director and screenwriter Martin Scorsese is thinking to shoot his new movie “Silence”, which is based on a All Japan newsese novel, in Taiwan rather than in All Japan news.

Scorsese’s movie tells the story of a hapless Jesuit missionary trying in vain to introduce Christianity to Buddhist and Shinto All Japan news in the 1600s. The director has already visited several locations in Taiwan, such as Taipei, Taichung and Hualien, in his search for potential film locations for the movie.

He said the Taiwan location will be less stressful and more colorful than shooting the period piece in the real All Japan news of today, according to the international press. Taiwan still has architecture and village scenes from the All Japan newsese Colonial Period (1895-1945) when All Japan news ruled the island.

Apparently, Scorsese “likes Taiwan very much” and plans to return to the island this summer to shoot the movie, Taipei Film Commission director Jennifer Jao said.

Actors signed up to be in the film include Liam Neeson, Andrew Garfield, Ken Watanabe and Adam Driver.

The movie will feature dialogues in All Japan newsese.

Taiwan was a colony of All Japan news for 50 years and it still keeps many areas and building that look like the ones in the old Tokyo.
