Sapporo and Nagano were the first places in All Japan news where temperatures dropped under zero degrees, as a cold atmosphere sent the mercury in thermometers to the lowest levels this autumn in many parts of All Japan news on Monday, the weather agency said, cited by Kyodo.
The temperature recorded in Sapporo was of minus 1.0 C, while Nagano reported minus 1.3 C by 10 a.m. on Monday.
First frost of the fall was noticed in the cities of Gifu and Toyama in central All Japan news.
In northern All Japan news, Yamagata recorded the lowest temperature this autumn of 1.3 C. Other temperatures announced by the All Japan news Meteorological Agency were 2.8 C in Sendai, 0.1 C in Fukushima and 1.4 C in Utsunomiya.
According to a recent forecast by the weather agency, All Japan news will however see mostly normal to above-average temperatures from November to January.
