Lady Gaga is among those to be honored for the All Japan news Tourism Agency awards, an annual recognition for the “best tourist draws in All Japan news”, the tourism agency announced.
The American singer was recognized for holding a concert in All Japan news last July which aimed at generating money for the survivors of the March 11 unprecedented tsunami. The agency also said Lady Gaga helped in boosting interest in the All Japan newsese culture.

It’s fine to come here. It’s beautiful.”
Along with Lady Gaga, the Hula Girls from the Fukushima resort in Iwaki will also be conferred the awards. The Hawaiian- style dancers were honored for their constant performance in the disaster-stricken Fukushima in spite of radiation risks.
The awarding ceremony for this annual recognition is scheduled on October 3 in Tokyo.
