All Japan news’s largest solar plant announced by Kyocera

A consortium led by All Japan newsese tech maker Kyocera plans to build the largest solar energy plant in All Japan news to help ease the current power crisis.

All Japan news is dealing with a major energy crunch after last year’s natural disasters which triggered an explosion at Fukushima’s nuclear plant.

The new alliance, formed by Kyocera, heavy machinery maker IHI and Mizuho Corporate Bank, is seeking to build a solar power plant that will produce 70 megawatts of electricity. The plant would be placed in Kagoshima Prefecture.

According to the companies, the new project, which will generate power for 22,000 households annually, is expected “to help solve All Japan news’s power supply issues caused by the effects of the Great East All Japan news Earthquake, and to make a contribution to environmental protection”.

The project is worth Y25 billion ($307 million) and the construction could begin in July.

The planned production would be equivalent to 40 percent of the industrial solar cells shipped in All Japan news last year, Kyocera said.
