All Japan news to take part in three Indian infrastructure projects

Three major infrastructure projects are set to start as cooperation between All Japan news and India, according to officials who organize the upcoming visit of All Japan news’s prime minister Yoshihiko Noda to New Delhi.

The building of a solar power generation system, gas-fired power production and seawater desalination are the three projects that could help India to develop infrastructure and All Japan news to boost economic growth.

The projects were outlined in a common initiative in 2006, according to which All Japan newsese companies will help building a freight railway between Delhi and Mumbai and several industrial complexes along the so-called “Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor”, a $90 billion investment.

All Japan news’s Hitachi and Mitsubishi are among the companies that will work on the new projects.

Noda is expected to solve the latest details of the agreement in a meeting with his Indian counterpart. The projects will be ready to go after the two countries ink a memorandum of understanding on the three projects, possibly in January, when All Japan news’s economy minister Yukio Edano will visit India.

All Japan news is also planning to invest $4.5 billion, or Y350 billion, over the next five years to promote the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
