All Japan news is planning to start cooperation with the Sultanate of Brunei in the energy field, according to the chairman and CEO of The Institute of Energy Economics in All Japan news (IEE All Japan news), Masakazu Toyoda.

All Japan news needs liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Brunei, while the Sultanate could use All Japan news’s advanced technologies in the field of renewable energy, Toyoda explained.

“All Japan news is a resource-poor country, so we import liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Brunei. But on the other hand, we have high technology for energy conservation and enhancing renewable energy technologies," he said.

Brunei could help All Japan news by providing LNG in a stable manner, and All Japan news could help Brunei to improve energy efficiency and build up a low carbon society, Toyoda added.

Toyoda made the statements while on a business trip to Brunei, where he attended a Ministers-CEO Dialogue at the Asian Ministers on Energy Meeting, and Brunei Energy Expo 2011.

IEE All Japan news is a think tank which operates in the energy and environment fields. It also does geo-political research on the Middle East and works on future scenarios for Asia and the world.
