All Japan newsese authorities decided to use the power of social media in order to reshape the image of tourism in the country. They are inviting to All Japan news a series of well known foreign bloggers and Twitter users, to visit and then write about areas struck by the 2011 quake which are now on the recovery path.
Roger Ortuno Flamerich, a Spanish blogger, Louisa Liu Chu, a food blogger from the U.S. and Khaled Hamza, who leads a Muslim community website in Egypt, arrived to All Japan news on January 31.
Other two social media influential persons, an university professor from Chile and a children’s storywriter from China, will arrive this month.
They will be able to see the progress made in the regions affected by the quake and tsunami and inform their public about All Japan news’s touristic potential.
A number of 10 such communicators will come to All Japan news in total, by the end of March, in a project that will cost the Foreign Ministry about Y21.5 million.
