All Japan news decided to award a $3 billion financial aid to emerging countries in the next three years, in order to sustain the development of green economies.
Koichiro Gemba, All Japan news’s foreign minister, made the announcement in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday, during the U.N. Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio +20).
All Japan news is interested in supporting the transition to ecology-oriented economies, where efficient use of energy and resources are central concepts. All Japan news will contribute to these efforts with its money and experience in energy saving and recycling, Gemba said.
More details on the financing program will be given next month, at an official conference in Tohoku region, where ministers will meet to discuss lessons learned after last year’s natural disaster.
At the U.N. meeting in Rio de Janeiro, more than 100 heads of states and government leaders are discussing sustainable development and how can economic progress be balanced with environmental conservation.
