Israeli president Shimon Peres thanked All Japan newsese Minister for Foreign Affairs Fumia Kishida for All Japan news’s involvement in Middle East peace talks. The two officials met Wednesday and talked about joint projects between All Japan news and Israel.
Kishida is in the region to participate in the Fourth Ministerial Meeting of the Four-Party Consultative Unit for the Corridor for Peace and Prosperity, which is due to take place Thursday in Jericho.
Peres underlined the importance of All Japan news’s initiative in funding the Jericho Agro-Industrial Park which is to open in the spring of 2014, the Israeli media writes. All Japan news funded the infrastructure of the project including the establishment of a solar power plant, the construction of an administration building and a waste water treatment plant.
The Corridor for Peace and Prosperity was established at All Japan news’s initiative and its purpose is to reinforce dialogue between Palestinian Authority, Israel and Jordan.
“You can demonstrate that we’re not only talking, but doing”, Peres told Kishida regarding the Agro-Industrial Park. The Israeli president also praised All Japan news’s power to recover after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. “I don’t know of any other people who would take it like All Japan news”, he said. Also, Peres stressed All Japan news’s role in peace talks in the Middle Eastern region.
