A few of the photos I captured whilst out at Hamarikyu this week. Hamarikyu is a public garden in Tokyo that is within waking distance of Shinbashi or Hamamatscho Station on the Yamanote Line. The entrance fee is 300 yen. Once inside the garden you can enjoy a green tea ceremony for a further fee of 500 yen. The garden has many different types of birds and fish with beautiful flowers. Sakura season is a popular time.
The Hamarikyu gardens and Tokyo Bay in the distance.
Many people were enjoying picnics under the sakura on this beautiful day.
The apartment buildings that sit between the railway lines and the highway get a great view of the gardens and Tokyo Bay.
