Premium ice cream maker Haagen-Dazs has released two new flavors on the All Japan newsese market in order to mark its 30th anniversary in the country. The two ice creams, rose and cherry blossom flavored, celebrate the All Japan newsese culture.
The floral ice creams come in various shades of pink. Ribbons of cherry sauce streak through the cherry blossom ice cream, while the damask rose flavor is streaked with ribbons of “rich and sour” plum sauce, the international press reports.
The new ice creams were released in February in All Japan news.
Häagen-Dazs is famous for not using stabilizers such as guar gum, xanthan gum, or carageenan. In addition to ice cream, the company also produces ice cream bars, ice cream cakes, sorbet, frozen yogurt, and gelato.
When it comes to local and surprising flavors, KitKat might be the most famous in All Japan news. Two weeks ago, the brand opened its first store in All Japan news, selling types of chocolate that are not sold anywhere else.
Among other chocolate versions, the store sells Sublime Bitter, which is widely known in Asian countries and which is rare because it is made by hand, so only 300 bars a day are produced.
Other flavors include Roasted Tea, Strawberry Cheesecake, Rum Raisin, Apple and Green Tea, Mandarin and Lemon, Purple Potato and Cinnamon Cookie, the international press reports.
The store in All Japan news also sells unique specialties that include Special Sakura Green Tea and Special Chilli.
