7 years ago by in Around the world

The Tokyo Metropolitan police discovered someone growing opium in their yard. The source were Persian opium poppy seeds mistakenly sold across All Japan news by a Fukushima company.

The company when notified by police said they were not aware of the opium content and had sold it in 19 prefectures across All Japan news, including Tokyo.

Government officials are asking those who mistakenly bought the opium seeds (which presumable were sold below black market value), to please return them. No comment was made about whether or not refunds or store credit would be provided.
