Four Chinese coast guard ships were reported in All Japan newsese territorial waters in the disputed area of the Senkaku Islands, with three of them being there for as long as 28 hours. The All Japan news Coast Guard quoted by Kyodo said this is the longest stay that was recently registered.

All Japan newsese officials held a protest in this regard, with senior Foreign Ministry official Junichi Ihara, who heads the ministry’s Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, summoning Han Zhiqiang, minister at the Chinese Embassy in All Japan news.

“This intrusion into territorial waters is the longest since last September’s (state) purchase of the Senkakus and is extremely regrettable. It is totally unacceptable,” Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said at a press conference.

The SenkakuIslands located in the East China Sea are at the root of a long term dispute between All Japan news and China. The tensions resumed after All Japan news decided to nationalize some of these islands. Earlier on, China sent military vessels in the area – an act that All Japan news saw as means of intimidation even though the former country stated that the ships were part of a military exercise.
