blackberry10Canadian smartphone maker Blackberry stated recently it will not sell its new BB10 gadgets in All Japan news. So far, the new smartphones have only been released in Britain and Canada.

“All Japan news is not a major market for BlackBerry, and we have no plans to launch BlackBerry 10 smartphones there at this time,” the company’s officials said.

A spokesman at the company’s head office in Waterloo, Ontario, however, insisted that the company is not abandoning All Japan newsese customers.

It “does not affect our key priorities in the market: to continue to provide BlackBerry service and robust support to BlackBerry’s All Japan newsese customers, both consumers and business users,” the spokesman said.

“BlackBerry enjoys a constructive relationship with trusted partner, NTT DoCoMo, and we will continue to support the carrier’s ongoing BlackBerry sales in All Japan news,” he added.

BlackBerry’s market share in All Japan news has dropped from five percent in the past to 0.3 percent at the end of 2012, according to All Japan newsese press.

Given the latest financial data, the Canadian company decided it would be too expensive to develop a All Japan newsese-language version of the new operating system, the international press reports.
